I am able to meet with you if you are an adult individual (18+) living and currently located in the state of California. While I specialize in working with AAPI & BIPOC clients, I consistently work with people of all identities and backgrounds.
You can learn more about my specialties on this website, and I’m happy to answer any specific questions during a consultation call.

I currently offer HIPAA-compliant telehealth (virtual) sessions as well as limited in-person sessions in San Diego, CA.

This is such a great (and complex) question! I can share more during a consultation call, but what I will briefly name here is that therapy works through two forms of relationship. The first is the connecting relationship we develop with each other. The second are the relationships I support between you and different parts of you. My role is to guide you into more courageous curiosity, connection, and compassion with your Self as we welcome all of you. Together we can learn how to hold old experiences, feelings, and beliefs in a new way!
You can also read more about IFS therapy on this website and learn more via the “IFS Resources” page.

My fee per 50 minute session is $200.
I do not participate in insurance plans directly, but I can provide a superbill (an itemized receipt of services) that you can submit to your insurance if full or partial reimbursement of out-of-network therapy services are part of your insurance coverage.
I believe in the importance of accessible mental health care. I keep a number of spots on my caseload at reduced fees to create more opportunities for accessibility.
If you are interested in working with me at a reduced fee, please bring this up during our consultation call. A helpful economic justice tool we will use to collaboratively determine a reduced fee is “The Green Bottle Method” by Alexis J. Cunningfolk (pictured below).

Certification through the IFS Institute is a process that some IFS-trained therapists may pursue to further their training and deepen their practice in the IFS therapy model.
As a Certified IFS therapist, I have been through rigorous levels of training, consultation, and evaluation by the IFS Institute. They have confirmed that I have met the requirements put forth by the IFS Institute to call myself a Certified IFS therapist (#CSL-1612!).

“Becoming Known Therapy” comes from my long-held belief that one of the most precious gifts we can receive and give to ourselves and others is the experience of being known. However, knowing ourselves or another is a process that is continuous and dynamic—hence the “becoming” descriptor. It is not necessarily a journey with an end point, but a commitment to following a winding, non-linear path in which we encounter beauty, connection, and authenticity along the way.
Fee Discussion
This is an economic justice tool developed by by Alexis J. Cunningfolk called the “The Green Bottle Method” which I use in discussions regarding reduced fees.
In the ecology of my practice, I accept a certain number of clients at various reduced fees in order to maintain accessibility for clients who cannot afford my full fee while still allowing for my practice to be sustainable.
I am aware these bottles do not capture all the factors that may impact your financial situation. I trust your evaluation of your context and welcome discussion of possible reduced fees during our consultation call. If you are requesting a reduced fee that I do not have available at the time, I am happy to share additional reduced-fee therapy resources with you.
